Field recording - Italian families and friends take part to outdoor activities on a sunny bank holiday at the Parcallario forest, October 2022.
Playful activities can be heard throughout the recordings, taken from different listening points of the park. It is a busy day, apprehensive parents talk from afar to their child climbing a tree; friends dare each other to get on the zip line; groups of people are walking through the forest, picking the last chestnuts of the season.

Parcallario is a large forest area in Buccheri, Sicily, full of centuries-old oaks and elm, pine and chestnut trees where you can walk suspended on air (hence the name “… allario”) on safety nets and aerial bridges.
